OREO Has Done It Again With New Root Beer Float Flavor
Nabisco is pretty much turning into Willy Wonka: consistently churning out new (and sometimes wacky) sweet treats. The latest limited-edition Oreo flavor to hit store shelves is root beer float: half-vanilla, half-root beer crème filling sandwiched between two golden Oreo cookies. The flavor follows the release of other unusual Oreo varieties like watermelon, limeade, and Reese's peanut butter cup. Right now, the Oreo cookies have only been spotted in a select few locations, but Nabisco has confirmed with The Daily Meal that they are being served nationwide.
We were skeptical of some of Oreo's past inventions (honestly, watermelon doesn't translate well to a cookie form, Nabsico), but we are pretty pumped to try these soda fountain sweets.
