Move Over PSL: Starbucks Introduces Chestnut Praline Latte
Now that Pumpkin Spice latte fever has died down (who are we kidding, it probably never will), Starbucks has a new trick up their caffeinated sleeves. Introducing: the new Chestnut Praline latte. The holiday drink will be released to Starbucks outlets nationwide on November 12. The Chestnut Praline latte snuck onto some menus around the country, but this is the first time the new holiday flavored beverage will be available nationwide.
Plus to get you even more into the holiday spirit, Starbucks will be offering red holiday cups featuring artsy poinsettias starting on November 1, so you sip your chestnut latte before an open fire, and Bing Crosby would be proud.
We got the chance to taste the Chestnut Praline Latte back at Starbucks' holiday preview over the summer, and found that the nutty, but not overly sweet flavor really complimented well with Starbucks' new line of holiday sweets (which we will reveal as the holiday season draws closer). The newest member of the Starbucks holiday latte family will be joined by the Gingerbread and Peppermint Mocha lattes.
