Mountain Dew's Baja Blast Hits Shelves May 5th

Electric green beverage fans rejoice: the rumors are true! Baja Blast is hitting shelves on May 5th.

If you're thirsty for Baja Blast, the hard-to-find cult-favorite Mountain Dew flavor that had previously only been sold by the cup at select Taco Bell locations, you won't have to wait much longer. The "tropical lime storm" blue-green flavor and cult-favorite drink known as Baja Blast has officially been confirmed by Mountain Dew, that it will be hitting shelves on May 5th. It's Baja or Bust!

We wrote earlier about Instagram users leaking images of vending machines that say "Bring on Baja! Coming May 2014" and several bottles of the lime-flavored beverage.

Even though May 5th may seem like a lnog while away, you can tide yourself over and make a Mountain Dew Cake with The Daily Meal recipe.

Don't get too excited though. Baja Blast will only be avaialbe in stores for a limited time, according to Mountain Dew. But the beverage will be stocked at Taco Bells all summer long. You had better stock up on Baja Blast while you can! We suspect that the fan-favorite flavor will be gone by the time summer hits its peak.
