Flea And Food Market Opens In Astoria, Queens
Long Island City Flea and Food have teamed up with Kaufman Astoria Studios to open up the brand new Flea and Food Market in Astoria, Queens on the studio back lot on 35th Ave. and 36th St. The market kicks off this Sunday, May 3rd and will feature more than 80 vendors from food to fashion, entertainment, and more. Astoria residents and visitors can look forward to some good eats from Butcher Bar, Oconomi, Ice & Vice, Sweet Leaf, Bills Balls, and Jam Jar. The back lot is currently home to some of television's most beloved shows like Orange is the New Black and Sesame Street.
"Besides being in a historic location, Astoria is a vibrant community that we look forward to serving," said Astoria Flea and Food Market President Joshua Schneps. "Being in the heart of the new Kaufman Arts District is also a great way to showcase the surrounding arts and cultural destinations as well as some of the best shopping and dining in New York City."
The market will be open every Sunday, and visitors will get a buy one ticket, get one free deal to the nearby Astoria Museum of the Moving Image.
