Amy And Samy Bouzaglo Are Selling Their Scottsdale Restaurant

Kitchen Nightmares' infamous husband and wife, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, might finally be stepping out of the limelight. Unless, of course, they want to pull another stunt for old time's sake (like that one time they threatened to stab a customer).

The couple is planning to sell their restaurant, Amy's Baking Co. in Scottsdale, Arizona, but may be looking to run a wholesale business to sell custom-made desserts and pastries in Gold Canyon. They plan to sell their desserts to restaurants, caterers, and other businesses. Amy also told the Phoenix Business Journal that she will offer an online cooking school featuring her creations.

The Bouzaglos want to sell the restaurant because they were having issues with their former landlord over a smell emanating from the shopping center, which has "forced the restaurant to close sometimes." They also had problems with the current real estate owners over fees and services.

The couple still receives negative comments when their 2013 episode of Kitchen Nightmares airs on BBC America. "That isn't who we are," Amy said to the Phoenix Business Journal. "It was just a show."
