David Burke Opens Angry Taco, Bacon Bar At Prudential Center
Upscale stadium food seems to be the newest trend nowadays, from the vegan options at the 49ers Levi's Stadium to the baseball stadiums known for their wide array of craft beer selections. And now the David Burke Group (Fishtail, Prime) is getting in on the action by opening up two new venues — Angry Taco, a restaurant for all things spicy; and Bacon Bar, an innovative sandwich shop — inside the Prudential Center in New Jersey, home of the New Jersey Devils. Both restaurants will be located inside the Fire and Ice Lounge at the stadium.
"The opening of Burke's Bacon Bar and Angry Taco will introduce David Burke Group to an entirely new audience and we are excited to introduce new flavor to the dining venues at the Prudential Center," said Stephen Goglia, President and CEO of the David Burke Group. "These openings mark our first foray into sporting and entertainment arenas and we anticipate that this is the first of many."
Angry Taco combines spicy Mexican flavors with an array of "angry" items like the Angry Hot Dog, Angry Chili with jack cheese and onions, and Crazy Corn on the Cob with cotija cheese and chipotle mayo. Burke's Bacon Bar will feature an array of sandwiches, wraps, and salads, including the BBB Reuben made with beef pastrami, spicy bacon kraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing on marble rye bread, and the slow roasted turkey cobb salad with maple glazed bacon, lettuce, tomato, egg, cucumber, and blue cheese crumbles.
