Costumed Chipotle Customers Get $3 Burritos On Halloween
Halloween is inching ever closer, so remember that while you're out with the little monsters, or covered head to toe in silly string, head over to Chipotle for the annual "boorito" fundraiser. Every customer dressed in costume that comes in to Chipotle on Halloween between 5 p.m. and closing will receive $3 burritos, bowls, salads, tacos, or kids meals. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation, a non-profit organization working toward a sustainable food future.
"Our customers have helped raise $3 million for the Chipotle Cultivate Foundation through Boorito over the last three years, simply by coming to our restaurants in costume," said Mark Crumpacker, chief marketing and development officer at Chipotle. "We are changing the way people think about and eat fast food, and the Cultivate Foundation is an ally in that effort, providing money to organizations that are committed to creating a sustainable, healthful and equitable food future."
Hungry costumed customers can also enter their Halloween digs into the Chipotle costume contest using the hashtag #ChipotleBooritoContest. Three grand prize winners will each get $2,500.
