Ben And Jerry's Releases Bob Marley "Bowl" Flavor In The UK
Promoting peace, love, and pints of ice cream, Ben and Jerry's has released a new flavor in the U.K. inspired by the legacy of Bob Marley, called "Satisfy My Bowl." Titter all you want over the name, but there are actually no unusual substances in this new flavor, which contains banana ice cream with caramel and cookie swirls along with chocolate peace signs. The flavor, which was released this month, will only be available in U.K., the Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Sorry, America; you'll have to wait a couple of weeks for a new Ben and Jerry's flavor stateside, which we hear is going to be just as legendary.
For the release of "Satisfy my Bowl," Ben and Jerry's is partnering with the 1Love Foundation to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Marley's Legend album, and proceeds from the sale of this limited-edition ice cream will benefit the foundation, which empowers and educates young people in Jamaica.
