Believe It Or Not — These Wacky Ice Cream Flavors Exist
Ripley's Believe it or Not! is putting a little bit of wacky in everyone's favorite frozen treat. For National Ice Cream Day, Ripley's Times Square will be throwing an ice cream party from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 20, featuring a menu of unusual ice cream flavors created by Max and Mina's Ice Cream in Flushing, Queens, like pickle, herring, onion and mushroom, and the fan-voted new flavor: falafel ice cream!

"Visitors will truly get a taste of the 'unbelievable' on National Ice Cream Day here at Ripley's Times Square," said Claudio Schapsis, CEO of Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square. "What is more refreshing than having a scoop of pickle ice cream as you tour Ripley's unusual galleries and interactive exhibits?"
We aren't really sure how the flavors are going to work out, but if you participate in the "taste test challenge" (we assume this means downing herring ice cream without running for the nearest garbage can), you'll get half-off your museum admission.
No word yet on whether Max and Mina will be keeping these crazy creations on their menu, but their original menu does still have beer and champagne ice creams, so you never know.
