New E! Show 'LA Sugar' Features Hollywood's Coveted Sweet Treats

A new show, LA Sugar, premiered last night on E! and brought viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how Los Angeles' sweets-obsessed get their fixes. The show stars the characters behind four of Hollywood's favorite treat spots: Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes West; Jackie Sorkin of Hollywood Candy Girls; Rachel Crystal and Kassandra Workman of Sugar Babies Cupcakery; and Shoneji Robison and Catarah Hampshire of Southern Girl Desserts.

Goldman, who is no stranger to food television as the former star of the now defunct show Ace of Cakes, makes his producing debut as the executive producer of LA Sugar.

The show's first episode saw each chef creating desserts for customers — "celebs and civilians alike," as the press release said, including former N'Sync member Joey Fatone.

The show has been well received on Twitter. As one fan tweeted after the show premiered, "@Duff_Goldman Ok. Thats it. I'm addicted to #LASUGAR and I'm not even gonna gain weight! Congrats on the new show! I've missed you on tv!"
