New Craft Beers And Artisanal Spirits In San Diego
All of San Diego, Calif. is pretty pumped for the opening of the latest craft brewery — and artisanal distillery. BNS Brewing & Distilling Co. opened its tasting room, as well as outdoor beer garden, the weekend of June 1 just off of Highway 67.
Eater reports that the tasting room will have 20 taps and a copper chill line (to keep beers chilled) just for the brewery's beers, "four core beers (the Wild West-inspired Gunfighter Golden Ale, Flintlock Black IPA, Revolver American IPA and Saloon Girl Saison )." As of now, BNS Brewing & Distilling Co.'s beers only come in draught form, but Eater says the head brewer Dan Jensen and co-founder Wes Richey, will eventually can and bottle their beers. And of course, there's also a large outdoor beer garden to enjoy the BNS beers (and down the road, maybe a rooftop patio).
And starting in June, that tasting room will also include the distilled products from the brewing/distilling company. You can get a distillery tour for now of the small-batch operation, but soon you'll be able to try BNS' whiskey, vodka, gin, and bourbon.
