Molly Sims Offers Style, Party Tips At Wendy's Salad Debut
Wendy's has teamed up with American model and actress Molly Sims and Polyvore to introduce two new dishes for its premium salad line. The BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad features fire-roasted corn, tomatoes, and applewood-smoked bacon, topped with barbecue-ranch dressing. The Asian Cashew Chicken salad features fire-roasted edamame, red peppers, and spicy cashews, topped with a spicy chili vinaigrette.
To introduce Wendy's newest menu items, Molly Sims partnered with Polyvore to create styleboards inspired by the flavors and colors of the salads. If you're interested, you can put together your own Wendy's-inspired styleboard for a chance to win $1000.
"I love how Wendy's is rolling out their new salads like a fashion line and can't wait to see how fashion lovers like me are inspired by them," said Sims, who was on hand to display her own Wendy's-inspired styleboard.
The busy and bicoastal Sims also offered some advice on how to host and plan big gatherings without too much stress.
"Come up with a theme first, and then prepare little bits in advance," Sims suggested. "Two weeks out, I think about whether we'll do an e-vite or invite. Are we going to have balloons or do any DIY projects? Will we have a dessert buffet or will it be a plated setting? It really depends on the event, but I think people like going to events that are fun and not too stuffy."
Despite her efforts to eat well and keep in tip-top model shape, Sims hasn't lost an appreciation for junk food.
"I love M&Ms and pizza, and I love biscuits with butter and jelly," she admitted. "I'm from the South, so it's in my blood."
Lastly, Molly offered the exercise philosophy that works best for her:
"Don't do the same thing every day, and don't over-exercise because you'll over-eat."
