Miami Cooks Up Haute Cuisine For Charity
Culinary benefit Taste of the Nation returns to Miami this Thursday to make sure that America's children have enough to eat. Taste of the Nation is hosted by Share Our Strength, a national nonprofit organization whose philosophy is to leave no kid hungry.
Taste of the Nation features Miami's top restaurants, chefs, and mixologists who donate their time and talent to prepare a special dinner at Turnberry Isle Resort. Allen Susser of Burger Bar and Chef Allen's To Go and André Bienvenu of Joe's Stone Crab have complied a line up of local restaurants like III Forks, De Rodriquez Cuba, and Haven, who are committed to Share Our Strength's philosophy.
Participating restaurants also include Joe's Stone Crab and La Cote, which will prepare some of their signature dishes for guests to taste. Guests will also have the chance to bid in a silent auction hosted by chef Ralph Pagano of Gulfstream Casino.
General Admission tickets are $125 and VIP tickets are $250 with proceeds of ticket sales going to the Share Our Strength organization.
