McDonald's To Introduce White Chocolate Mocha
Winter just got a little warmer and sweeter, and Starbucks may have just gotten some competition.
McDonald's will be releasing a new McCafé White Chocolate Mocha exclusively for the winter, according to a press release. This will be joining the line of the existing regular, caramel, and soon-to-be-returning peppermint mocha.
A small 12 oz. size costs $2.39, medium 16 oz. is $2.89 and large 20 oz. is $3.39 (and seems to cost less than Starbucks' similar offerings).
The white chocolate mocha will only be available beginning mid-November through January.
Earlier this year, McDonald's released a pumpkin spice latte to rival Starbucks' share of the market. It looks like they are stepping up their game in seasonal fare and seem to be doing well.
McDonald's first introduced their peppermint mocha and peppermint hot chocolate during the winter in 2011. Perhaps we can expect a gingerbread latte and eggnog latte for the future. What do you say, McDonald's?
