Marcus Samuelsson To Judge On ABC's 'The Taste'
Despite tepid reviews, The Taste returns for season two this January with judges Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, and Ludo Lefebvre. But new at the judge's table? Harlem chef Marcus Samuelsson.
After Brian Malarkey dropped from the bill at the end of last season, The Taste had been auditioning for a fourth judge, opening up the pool to food bloggers and media folks in addition to chefs. It seems, however, that the all-chef cast will continue.
According to PEOPLE, Samuelsson will be the only new judge at the table. "I am thrilled to be joining the The Taste," Samuelsson told PEOPLE. "I'm looking forward to working alongside such an esteemed group of culinary figures and discovering new talents." This isn't his first time judging a food competition; he's been a judge and contestant on Chopped, as well as Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off.
