A Look At Montana's Paws Up Resort
Montana is not usually known as a culinary destination, but Adam Cooke from The Resort at Paws Up is trying to change that by bringing together rustic appeal with fine dining. The resort allows guests to enjoy the great outdoors but in a luxurious setting — and through local agriculture, local meat, and thoughtful cuisine they are also becoming known for their culinary program as well.
As Cooke says, "Paws Up is a luxury resort built on a historic cattle ranch... We've got two main restaurants, each one of the camps has a personal chef every night as well as a personal butler. We do nightly chuck wagon dinners, which are sort of more traditional style barbecue style, cast-iron, cowboys with banjos, that sort of thing. We're also putting a lot of focus on culinary events, food and wine events."
