Judy Joo's 'Korean Food Made Simple' Premiering April 19th

On April 19th, Korean Food Made Simple from American chef and Iron Chef UK titleholder Judy Joo will premiere on the Cooking Channel at 12:30 p.m. "From the bustling streets of Seoul to the swarming beaches of Busan," the now London-based chef will travel through South Korea to find the people and places behind traditional Korean cuisine and then return to the kitchen to offer viewers simple ways to recreate those classic flavors.

Currently, Joo is the executive chef of The Dining Room at the Playboy Club London and she was recently featured in The Daily Meal's 60 (Plus) Coolest People in Food & Drink.

Joo has previously visited our test kitchen to show us how to make pajeon, a Korean seafood and scallion pancake, and to discuss her work as the executive chef of the Playboy Club London. Most recently, Judy visited The Daily Meal to talk about her Korean roots, and her new show.

Korean Food Made Simple will also be broadcast on Food Network UK later this summer. Watch the trailer for Korean Food Made Simple below:
