Jamba Juice Launches 'Whole Food Nutrition Smoothies'
Jamba Juice has announced the addition of several new items to their menu, and the new products are all geared toward helping customers get their daily recommended servings of fruits and vegetables as well as a host of healthier add-ons. The new offerings are made with whole fruits and vegetables, no added sugar, and extra protein.
New smoothies include the Kale-ribbean Breeze (with mangos, kale, passion fruit juice, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds); PB Chocolate Love (chocolate, peanut butter, bananas, and a "whole grain boost"); and Carrot Orange Fusion (with orange juice, carrots, Greek yogurt, soy milk, bananas, and chia seeds). Each of these offerings averages 10 to 14 grams of protein. They're also expanding their fresh juice offerings, with fresh kale, apples, pineapples, oranges, ginger, carrots, and beets available for juicing.
"As consumers become more aware of the benefits of getting their daily recommended servings of fruits and vegetables, we are determined to support their everyday health and lifestyle needs through our delicious products," Julie S. Washington, Jamba's senior vice president and chief brand officer, said in a release. "Made with whole fruit, whole veggies, and other real whole food ingredients, our new smoothies and juices make it easy to start healthy habits in the new year with truly good, straight-from-the-earth ingredients."
