How To Holiday Like Prince Harry
On Prince Harry's recent trip to the Caribbean, he booked a room at Half Moon in Jamaica, a hotel he has stayed in with his family on a number of occasions.
So to commemorate his stay, and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Half Moon is offering discounts on its multibedroom Royal Villas as well as a "Royal Summer" package. The Royal Villas have between four and seven bedrooms and each come with their own private pool, two golf carts to get around the resort, ocean views, a personal chef, and a private butler. (You'll want to complete this grocery list before you arrive so your villa's pantries and kitchen can be stocked to your preferences.)
Then, the Royal Summer package includes four nights in one of the private Royal Villas, round-trip airport transfers, and a private poolside barbecue set up for you and your friends (assuming you won't be in that big villa by yourself), all at 20 percent off. The hotel also has a Dolphin Lagoon, Camp Half Moon for kids, water sports, 18 holes of golf, an Equestrian Center, and yoga, alongside six restaurants and eight bars offering Jamaican, Caribbean, and Italian cuisines.
Of course, Prince Harry didn't just hang out at the hotel on his recent tour — he made his way to the Bahamas and Belize, as well as Brazil. While in the islands, he sampled locally produced rum, attended street festivals, and visited 18th-century plantations.
