When it comes to cooking and baking, you have a wide variety of healthy cooking oils to choose from. Olive oil can lower cholesterol and improve digestion. It is also a healthier alternative for butter because it contains only 33 percent saturated fat, whereas butter has around 66 percent.
Coconut oil is one of the most praised healthy cooking oils because it can be used in many different ways. Also, coconut oil is great for cooking with high heat. Whether you are cooking vegetables or pan-frying salmon, using coconut oil will help you avoid burning your food.
Canola oil is the lowest in saturated fat compared to the other healthy cooking oils, and it is also an essential source of healthy fatty acids. It has a very light flavor, so it pairs with just about anything.
