Gabby Douglas Celebrated With Egg McMuffin, Gets Teased By First Lady
So now that the Olympics are over (although they will never be with these amazing gifs), it's time for the gold medal athletes to come home to... more interviews. And of course, one of the best interviewees ever would be 16-year-old gymnast Gabby Douglas.
Douglas made an appearance on Jay Leno's show last night, and just so happened to be sharing the couch with first lady Michelle Obama. When asked about the celebrations, Douglas said she had an Egg McMuffin from McDonald's, which probably isn't too healthy in Obama's book.
To be fair, it seems like every other Olympian celebrated the end with a trip to the official Olympics sponsor Mickey D's, but Obama teased Douglas anyway. "You're setting me back, Gabby," Obama said. "I worked so hard."
Of course, Obama was merely mentioning the fact that she's tried to get Leno to eat properly before, and Leno just got some bad eating ideas from Douglas' post-victory meal. Watch the exchange below and mourn the passing of the Summer Olympics. Next up, figure skating.
