Free Shake Shack Burger Giveaway In New York City
In anticipation for the May 24 opening of the new Delta Terminal 4 at New York's JFK airport, both Delta and Danny Meyer's Shake Shack will give away free burgers from May 19 to 22 at Delta's T4X experiential space in SoHo. New Yorkers can receive a free "burger pass" for Shake Shack's ShackBurger at the terminal preview location.
The burger pass giveaway also marks the first opening of an airport Shake Shack in the US. As part of an effort to highlight the "crème de la crème" of successful New York City restaurant concepts , the chain will open in Delta's Terminal 4 alongside the first-ever airport Blue Smoke (another one of Meyer's restaurants), as well as Marcus Samuelson's Uptown Brasserie and Nancy Silverton's La Brea Bakery. According to senior director of public relations and marketing for the terminal, Darleen Nascimento, there has been a goal for the terminal to serve high-quality food from some of the country's top chefs and restaurateurs.
The burger passes will be redeemable for one free ShackBurger at participating U.S. Shake Shacks including the JFK Terminal 4 location. The Delta T4X is at 376 West Broadway at Broome Street and burger passes will be distributed May 19 to 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. while supplies list.
