DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Among the things you need to celebrate a truly great Fourth of July are some fantastic red, white, and blue ribbons — or this Ribbon!

Ribbon is at the Michigan Humane Society, hoping her forever family comes by to scoop her up.

The 5-year-old Pit Bull terrier is a sweet and loving girl. "She may take a little while to warm up, but it is well worth your patience!" MHS staffers say.
