Food & Wine All-Star Weekend: Oct. 21-23

What do you get when you put Gail Simmons, Masa Takayama, Michael Mina, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Julian Serrano, a handful of alums from Top Chef, and their contemporaries in a hot desert city for a weekend? The aptly named, second annual All-Star Weekend, hosted by Gail Simmons and Food & Wine, in Las Vegas.

The weekend will see chefs and attendees shuttling around to Vegas' dining hot spots, into cooking demonstrations, to wine and mixology seminars, and to some of the city's best nightlife destinations. Last year's weekend was a smashing success, but we'll be on hand this year talking and tasting, learning, swilling and spitting, and tweeting about it all.
