Sautéed By The Bell: Tiffani Thiessen (Aka Kelly Kapowski) Gets Her Own Cooking Show
Make sure you do your homework before you tune in for this heavy dose of nostalgia, premiering on the Cooking Channel later this month. Actress Tiffani Thiessen, best known as heartthrob Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell, will be getting her own cooking show, Dinner at Tiffani's, premiering on the Cooking Channel on February 25.
"I have played many characters, but my favorite role is playing host," said Thiessen in a statement. "For every party, my ultimate goal is to make my guests feel welcome. I want my guests to enjoy delicious meals in good company, with good conversation and lots of laughs."
Each episode features dinner recipes, entertaining stories, and party-pleasing recipes, as well as special celebrity guests (including her former Saved by the Bell co-stars Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley). The recipes are meant to be crowd-pleasers and include savory roasted dates with smoked bacon and goat cheese; and homemade grilled pizzas topped with gourmet ingredients such as ricotta, arugula, grapes, pine nuts, and lemon zest.
Other guests include former 'N Sync member Lance Bass, comedian Bill Bellamy, Family Guy actor Seth Green, and Grimm star Bree Turner.
