The One Thing Taylor Swift And Kim Kardashian Actually Agree On
Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift have been entangled in an intense feud for over a year. Though the two pop culture icons experienced a brief time period of friendship, ever since Kanye West released his The Life of Pablo single "Famous" in spring 2016 with a derogatory lyric about the "Blank Space" singer, the two have been battling it out.
The rest of the tale boils down to a she said/she said over whether or not Swift gave West permission to rap about her. The tale is a riveting one, played out via Snapchat, the iPhone Notes app, and Twitter.
Basically: it's messy, and it's safe to say that these two don't see eye-to-eye on much. However there is one thing they can agree on: They are not big fans of sushi.
According to Alexander Theroux's new book Einstein's Beets: An Examination of Food Phobias, both Kardashian and Swift simply can't stomach the stuff.
While Swift loves cheeseburgers and Diet Coke, she is no fan of sushi. She has commented on her distaste of the trendy food in her signature superstar-next-door style. "I have tried so hard to like sushi," she's reported as saying. "I am the last person on earth who is not cool enough to be able to eat sushi. I can't swallow it."
Kardashian, meanwhile, has been more tight-lipped about her dislike of raw fish and rice. However, it is known that Kardashian is a huge fan of the Atkins diet. The well-known low-carb diet gives the OK to fatty fish and seafood such as salmon and sardines, but notoriously won't allow you to eat white rice, a key component in sushi.
So, while it is unlikely that these two will ever actually make up, there is one thing we know: It won't be over a big plate of sashimi. Want to know what they may reunite over? Click here for a list of what Kim eats in a day.
