If there's one unexpected food friendship that we're totally obsessed with, it has to be the one between Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg.

Though it may seem like a gangsta rapper and the queen of all things domestic may not have much in common, according to Vulture, their friendship dates back nearly a decade, to when Snoop appeared on Stewart's show at the time, Martha. The duo whipped up some mashed potatoes, and Stewart was taken with Snoop's unique way of speaking.

Since then, the duo really have developed a genuinely loving — if mildly baffling — friendship. And it's totally authentic. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Snoop said, "I've never met anyone like Martha Stewart. When we come together, it's a natural combination of love, peace and harmony." Their relationship has even developed into their own VH1 show, Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party.

When you start to think about this friendship a lot, you realize that the world really does boil down to two categories of people: Marthas and Snoops.
