Adam Rippon Believes In-N-Out Meat Is 'Magic'
Figure skater Adam Rippon was the most recent guest on First We Feast's Hot Ones challenge. He and host Sean Evans went in on all things Olympics, Rippon's minor stint in baseball, his cult internet following, and his love of In-N-Out, all while chowing down on varying degrees of spicy wings.
While attempting to make the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics bronze medalist sweat, Evans reminded Rippon of the story of how he and Mirai Nagasu had eaten In-N-Out on a roof four and a half years earlier while lamenting their failure to make the 2014 U.S. Olympic Team. "If you were eating a Double Double now with the same magical impact on your life, where do you think you'll be four and a half years from now?" Evans asked.
"All I have to say is those In-N-Out meats, those are magic meats," Rippon responded. "So basically if you are depressed, eat a burger and four years later you'll go to the Olympics," he joked.
Rippon was able to complete the "Hot Ones" challenge with millions of Scoville units running through his body, and he finished it by eloquently saying, "To my haters that thought I wouldn't do this, to my doubters that thought that this wouldn't happen. There will be some naysayers, but f— 'em, we did it."
