Uber And McDonald's Team Up To Give Away Free Ice Cream Through End Of Summer

Uber riders, listen up: You can now get free ice cream every Friday from August 11 through September 22. All you need to do is open the Uber app between 11 a.m. and "early afternoon" local time, select "ice cream," and wait to see if you match with an Uber ice cream truck. According to a press release, if you're matched, the truck will then deliver free soft serve ice cream for you and your friends.

Additionally, for each delivery, Uber is giving away one limited-edition Uber-stamped cone. You can take the cone to a participating McDonald's every Friday until September 22 for free soft serve. The promotional silicone cone and will slip over the standard-issue, edible cone.
