Tavern Road, Boston's Go-To For Internationally Influenced And Locally Sourced Dining, Turns 3
Leading the Fort Point food scene is Tavern Road — a joint project by brothers Louis and Michael DiBiccari. On Thursday, March 31, the team celebrates the restaurant's third birthday with a multi-course menu prepared by five incredible chefs.
This year, guest chefs include Michael Serpa of Select Oyster Bar, Brian Mercury of Harvest, and Tony Messina of the new and improved Uni. Together, this band of culinary rock stars will be rolling out tuna tacos with uni aïoli, a crispy duck banh mi, Korean rice cakes, and a 'weeping lamb' as the evening's piece de resistance. And of course, it wouldn't be a party without a birthday cake — that's where chef Mercury's pastry expertise comes into play. He will be baking a decadent devil's food birthday cake.
The Fort Point area rejoices the third anniversary of Tavern Road and will continue to appreciate this restaurant's unique identity as a funky new neighborhood and arts enclave of Boston. Throughout the past year, owner/chef Louis DiBiccari and his team have revved up their menu, using international street food as their source of inspiration. This menu is more casual and palatable to people of all different tastes. In addition, it has launched a full-service lunch to cater to the increasing Fort Point population and expansion of local businesses. Snag your ticket now as last year's event sold out quickly! Tickets are $65 and can be purchased here.
