Taco Bell's Forbidden Bowl Is Only Available At 1 California Store For A Week
Taco Bell has revealed two new items that they say are so exclusive, they're practically forbidden. For one week only, the Forbidden Bowl and Forbidden Burrito will grace the menu at a single Orange County, California, restaurant. Each meal will include antioxidant-packed black rice, crispy avocados, and a new "ultra-flavorful" forbidden sauce with the customer's choice of protein and fresh veggies. The Forbidden Bowl and Burrito range from $3.49 to $3.99 each depending on choice of protein, or you can get them in a $5 Box with a Doritos Locos Taco, a crunchy taco, and a medium drink.
"The Forbidden Bowl and Burrito continue Taco Bell's foray into new menu items, as the Food Innovation Team works on imaginative creations reflective of modern food trends and lifestyles," the company said in a press release. The Tex-Mex chain also plans to test new seasonal, regional, and "lifestyle-specific" items while maintaining the flavors customers "know and love."
Fans can live más with the new forbidden lineup at the 2222 Baranca Parkway location in Irvine from Sept. 14 through 21. But if you can't quite make it to the Golden State, here are 2017's 50 best burritos in America.
