Taco Bell Is Testing A New Churro Doughnut
Donut Fries, who? Taco Bell will begin testing a new Churro Donut in select restaurants around Kansas City, Missouri, from April 4 through early May. In an email, a spokesperson for the brand said the new cinnamon-dusted fried food features "everything you know and love about a churro in the shape of a donut." It's priced at $1 and is served a la carte during breakfast hours only (6 to 11 a.m.).
The Best Doughnuts in Every State
The Tex-Mex chain has also announced trial runs for two additional test products, including a Loaded Nacho Taco with a soft tortilla shell, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, cheddar cheese and crunchy chips seasoned with lime, tomato and garlic. Jalapeños can be added upon request. Loaded Nacho Tacos will be available a la carte for $1 or in a $5 Box with a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists and a medium drink at restaurants nationwide.
And we hope you're hungry, North Carolina, because Charlotte is getting a Double Beef Quesarito — a burrito filled with seasoned beef, seasoned rice, cheddar cheese, sour cream and chipotle sauce wrapped inside a seasoned beef quesadilla. This item will be sold a la carte for $3.49 or in a $5 Box with two crunchy tacos and a medium drink. Back in the day, you'd likely never see such a mashup as this. In fact, fast food has changed a lot since you were in high school.
