Spoonfed Offers Comfort Food In The Heart Of Hollywood
Enter through Spoonfed's big wooden door adorned with a large wood spoon and enjoy a variety of comfort dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Guests can choose to dine in the large romantic patio with brightly upholstered benches in rainbow fabric surrounding a huge lighted English Oak tree, or venture inside to the garb and go counter that leads into more seating in the Bar Joe dining room. The space is open and features wooden booths, high table communal seating, traditional tables with brown and white pillow accents, bar seating and a huge Kenton Nelson mural featuring a woman eating on a trapeze.
Standout appetizers include clam dip with potato chips; black kale salad with roasted butternut squash, goat cheese and a citrus vinaigrette; stacked salmon tartar with avocado, egg and wonton chips and a comforting roasted tomato soup with a huge cheddar crouton.
Main dishes include skirt steak with crinkle cut fries and aioli; a forest mushroom polenta; grilled salmon with roasted corn puree, spinach, tomato and shallots and chicken schnitzel with a thick mushroom gravy, polenta and asparagus.
Desserts are sinful and satisfying and include a delicious chocolate buttermilk cake; bread pudding; homemade cookies and a huge spirited root beer float with orange stout syrup.
Located in the heart of Hollywood and open from 7 am to 6:30 pm daily, Spoonfed is a perfect destination for brunch, a romantic dinner al fresco on the patio or a group dinner at the cozy Bar Joe area.
