Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes Are Coming This Fall

It may be just the start of summer, but pumpkin spice season — uh, we mean fall — is right around the corner. Though it may have seemed like we already reached peak pumpkin spice with pumpkin spice deodorant, sausages, ravioli, pizza, and bath bombs, new products are already rolling out for 2018. Luckily, the latest pumpkin spice food is a welcome one: Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes.

Though it has yet to hit store shelves, Kellogg's announced that it is releasing Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes to stores nationwide this September. A Kellogg's representative said the new cereal product has pumpkin spice frosting coating its iconic toasted flakes. Pumpkin Spice Frosted Flakes feature "caramelized pumpkin aromatics" with cinnamon, allspice, and ginger. Like many pumpkin spice products, there doesn't seem to be actual pumpkin here.

These new Frosted Flakes aren't the only way you can get some pumpkin spice in your cereal bowl. Cheerios, Life, Special K, Frosted Mini-Wheats, and Puffins are among the brands that have added pumpkin spice to their boxes.
