Product Review: Hot Cocoa Chips Ahoy

Chips Ahoy is no stranger to excited limited edition flavors, with past varieties under their belt including chocolate banana, mint chocolate chip, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (our condolences to anyone who missed out on that one). Their newest seasonal release, hot cocoa, is a real winner, though, and you should definitely track down a package.

These soft chocolate cookies are studded with chocolate and marshmallow chips, and are filled with a layer of hot cocoa-flavored icing. They really taste like hot chocolate, and that layer in the middle is a very pleasant surprise.

We wholeheartedly recommend that you take the suggestion on the packaging and microwave these for about six or seven seconds. The chocolate middle melts, and they become groan-inducingly good.

If you're looking to puck some up for yourself, you better do it quick; these will only be around until the end of the year at the latest.
