People Who Smoke Weed Prefer McDonald's: Survey

According to study, legal marijuana users overwhelmingly choose McDonald's when provided with a choice of fast-food options. It may seem like our friends with the munchies will eat just any old thing, but a survey done by cannabis financial website Green Market Report and Consumer Research Around Cannabis found that 43 percent of people who legally purchase cannabis also select McDonald's to cure their hunger.

The study involved 27,500 adults in 25 U.S. markets. Nation's Restaurant News attributes the results to the Golden Arches being the largest restaurant chain in America, but we would like to think it's because the potheads are simply lovin' it.

Taco Bell, another late-night food craving favorite of drunk and stoned people everywhere, came in second. Wendy's was third, Burger King fourth, and Subway fifth. KFC, Arby's, Chick-fil-A, Jack in the Box, and Carl's Jr. also made the list.

Some think McDonald's wins for their fries — but surprisingly, the fast food chain doesn't rank at all on our list of America's 30 best French fries.
