'Nashville' Star Jonathan Jackson Opening Barbecue Restaurant And Concert Venue In Tennessee
Jonathan Jackson, who plays Avery Barkley on ABC's Nashville, has teamed up with Steve Burton, a longtime friend and fellow actor, to open a barbecue restaurant and concert venue in Franklin, Tennessee.
Jackson himself is a musician who, along with the rest of the cast, sings and plays his own music on Nashville, and belongs to the band Enation.
The restaurant, Jack and Jameson's Smokehouse, will be a family-friendly affair with world-class music, according to an official Facebook page. Jackson and Burton will be joined by a third owner and operator, Rick Shannon, a longtime restaurateur.
In a commitment to support local breweries, the restaurant will serve 15 to 20 local beers on tap, plus "great BBQ, burgers, and melts." Renovations for the restaurant are currently underway at 509 Hillsboro Road in Franklin, where Jack and Jameson's Smokehouse will be located. A grand opening date has not yet been announced.
