McDonald's Has Finally Bottled Its Special Sauce... But You Can Only Get It In Australia

McDonald's fans have tried for years to figure out just what exactly is in the beloved special sauce. Some believe it's a magical mixture of relish, mayo, spices, mustard, and garlic, while others contend that it's simply doctored Thousand Island dressing. Now, McDonald's is finally releasing the super-secret sauce to the public. In Australia, during the month of February, McDonald's will be selling 25-ml (0.8-ounce) tubs of their special sauce for only 50 cents a pop.

"Big Mac sauce is one of the most iconic McDonald's ingredients, and people often ask us where they can buy it, so we're excited to be the first country in the world to offer tubs of Big Mac sauce to our customers," McDonald's CMO Australia Mark Lollback told Metro UK.

If you're craving more and willing to pay for it, a 500-ml bottle of special sauce will be auctioned off on eBay, and most of the proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House. Someone must really love their special sauce, because the current bid is $23,100.00 AU (approximately $18,000 USD).

If you're interested in filling up on special sauce, you better hurry, because each of the participating McDonald's locations Down Under will only be selling 600 of these saucy bad boys.
