Maui, Hawaii's Grand Wailea Spa Incorporates Local Products Into Relaxing Treatments
The massive 50,000-square-foot Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea Maui Resort houses over 40 treatment rooms, a stunning co-ed outdoor waiting lounge overlooking Wailea Beach and the resort grounds, showers, saunas, and a large locker room. It also offers a variety of treatments incorporating local ingredients.
Locally sourced ingredients are used in a variety of treatments, such as a milk and honey hydrating mask, a volcanic ash purifying facial, a sugar cane and ginger salt exfoliation, a honey macadamia nut butter massage, and a heated stone avocado and olive oil massage.
In addition to facials, massages, and body treatments, guests can enjoy the unique terme hydrotherapy circuit including five distinct mineral baths with Hawaiian grown essences including lava red, green papaya, Wailea blue, Kilauea black, and bamboo green sea salts combined with spirulina, vanilla orchid, coconut nectar, pineapple, and guava.
The circuit also includes a waterfall massage, cold plunge pool, Furo bath, customized Swiss jet showers, and a large Roman Jacuzzi. Additionally, all treatments include a complimentary loofah scrub.
