Krispy Kreme Is Releasing A Limited-Edition Chocolate Glazed Doughnut

For the first time in history, Krispy Kreme is giving their Original Glazed doughnut a facelift as they announce a new limited-edition chocolate-glazed doughnut. According to a press release, the product will be available on August 21 during the solar eclipse, and also during "Hot Light" hours on August 19 and 20. ("Hot Light" refers to the shop's glowing neon sign that signals passersby of doughnuts fresh out of the oven. But if you're not parked outside Krispy Kreme's window 25/8, there's an app for that.) 

The Krispy Kreme Chocolate Glazed doughnut features the classic Original Glazed doughnut smothered in a rich chocolate glaze. The statement says that "guests who visit participating Krispy Kreme shops can see the chocolate glaze waterfall as the doughnuts are prepared, smell the aroma of chocolate wafting through the shop and taste the familiar original glazed doughnut smothered in a new delicious chocolate."
