Krispy Kreme Brings Back Chocolate Glaze Doughnut For World Chocolate Day
Krispy Kreme wants to give the world a chocolate doughnut. In honor of World Chocolate Day, Krispy Kreme is bringing back their chocolate glaze doughnut — not just to America but to the entire world — for 24 hours only. For the first time in the brand's history, Krispy Kreme will offer its chocolate glaze doughnut to customers on six different continents.
On July 7, customers will be able to indulge in Krispy Kreme's tasty chocolate waterfall glazed original doughnuts, beginning at midnight in the local time zone at many stores. The event will kick off in Auckland, New Zealand, and end 29 countries later in Kahului, Hawaii, US.
Customers in Russia, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, South Africa, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Canada, the United States (where Krispy Kreme was recently named named the nation's best coffee shop brand), the Dominican Republic, Peru, Panama, Mexico, and Guatemala will have been able to celebrate with a taste of the chocolate treat. Prices will vary by country.
"Creating an awesome chocolate glaze experience that brings together chocolate and doughnut fans around the world is something that is really special for us," said Jackie Woodward, chief marketing officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, via a press release. "The joyful reaction and demand for the Chocolate Glaze Doughnut during last year's total solar eclipse proved that we had to share this experience again, this time on a global scale."
