James Beard Foundation's Taste America Returns To Boston
Everyone loves an all-star victory lap—and who doesn't love one even more when it involves top culinary talent?
On Friday, Nov. 3, the James Beard Foundation's Taste America tour comes to Boston to showcase some of the nation's top culinary masters. The evening holds many delights in store, including a collaborative menu featuring dishes crafted by JBF Award–winning chef and Taste America all-star Daniel Boulud, as well as Boston stars like Karen Akunowicz, Maura Kilpatrick, and Taj Boston chef Gurminder Gidda.
Festivities kick off with an opening reception with bites from other local luminaries—Carolyn Johnson, Cassie Puma, and Marc Sheehan, among others, will be there to get your belly warmed up and ready to go.
In addition to all of the delicious food (not to mention extraordinary libations), this evening is a true celebration of the food industry's progress in America. With more female chefs present than ever before, this fifth iteration promises to top even last year's phenomenal showing.
Unfortunately tickets are sold out but sign up for the waitlist.
If you can't make it to the gala, RSVP for Boulud's cooking demonstration at Sur La Table on Saturday.
