Help Raise Money For Children's Cancer Research On 'Be A Good Cookie Family Fun Day' With Christina Tosi
On Saturday, December 5, Milk Bar pastry chef and MasterChef judge Christina Tosi and national nonprofit organization Cookies for Kids' Cancer will host "Be a Good Cookie Family Fun Day," a full day of desserts and live entertainment in New York City at the Metropolitan Pavilion — all to raise money for the research of pediatric cancer, the leading cause of children's death by disease in the United States.
A lineup of 15 of the country's best pastry chefs have been recruited to serve their best desserts, including Bobby Lloyd (Magnolia Bakery), Zach Golper (Bien Cuit), Erin McKenna (Erin McKenna's Bakery), Erin Patinkin (Ovenly), Sarah Sanneh (Pies 'n' Thighs), and Douglas Quint and Bryan Petroff (Big Gay Ice Cream).
Aside from plenty of treats, families will be able to enjoy events like cupcake decorating tutorials, crafts, live music, and an interactive mural project, plus appearances by select MasterChef Junior contestants and other special guests. Tickets range in price for $75 to $125 for individuals, and from $500 to $2,500 for groups.
