Get A Taste Of Hong Kong's Acclaimed Amber Restaurant During A New York City Culinary Pop-Up

Chef Richard Ekkebus of Amber, the No. 4 Best Restaurant on the 2016 San Pellegrino Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list, will be coming to the Mandarin Oriental in New York City next week. From June 8 to 11, the chef and Culinary Director at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will showcase his contemporary French fare and signature dishes for the first time to New York City diners during a four-day culinary pop-up at the beautifully styled, Restaurant Asiate.

Chef Ekkebus' pop-up will be offering innovative four-course lunch and six-course dinner menus. Along with Asiate's panoramic views of the skyline, diners will indulge in some of chef Ekkebus' signature dishes at Amber, including sea urchin in a lobster jelly with cauliflower and caviar and crispy seaweed waffle.

Amber has been awarded two Michelin Stars by the Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau 2016 for the eighth consecutive year. If that's not impressive enough, in 2015, chef Ekkebus was presented the "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Merite" which recognized him for his distinguished service to France in both the public and private sectors.
