Farmhouse Los Angeles Offers Four Course Prix-Fixe Valentine's Day Dinner
Farmhouse, Nathan Peitso's farm to table inspired restaurant at The Beverly Center, will be offering a special $65 Valentine's Day menu highlighting winter ingredients.
Dinner will begin with an amuse of smoked salmon blini, crème fraiche, dill and salmon caviar. First course dish choices include butternut squash soup with cranberries and pumpkin seeds; roasted carrots with avocado, beluga lentils and a harissa vinaigrette; grilled white shrimp with pumpkin, coconut and curry and seared albacore with turnips, pear and a black pepper sauce.
Main courses include a choice of roasted cod fillet, pumpkin, ginger and oro blanco grapefruit; seared sea scallops with butternut squash puree, mushrooms, Swiss chard and a chipotle vinaigrette; wood grilled filet steak with a German butterball potato and a taleggio gratin and a grilled half chicken with celery root purée and black truffle emulsion. Dessert choices include a chocolate duo or tart and mousse or a rhubarb clafoutis with vanilla ice cream.
Farmhouse houses five different dining areas and two bars in 7,000 square feet. Guests enter to see the open kitchen on the left and a large communal dining area to the right. Further inside is another small area for seating across from one of the bars which leads into the Greenhouse area, the large main Living Room and the Veranda space in the back.
