DeBragga Offering Mail-Order Filet Mignon And Black Truffle Kits For Valentine's Day

If you're looking to cook a romantic dinner for two for Valentine's Day, you could sure do a lot worse than filet mignon and black truffles. And just in time for the holiday, legendary New York-based butchers DeBragga have partnered with truffle company Urbani to offer two special filet and truffle combos, both of which are available by mail order.

The first kit, which is selling for $99.95, partners four vacuum-sealed six-ounce Prime filet mignons with a three-ounce container of Urbani black truffle butter and a 1.5-ounce container of concentrated veal stock. The second, dubbed the Luxury Dinner Kit, includes two four-ounce filets of real A5 wagyu beef from Miyazaki, Japan, one ounce of fresh black winter truffles from Urbani, 1.5 ounces of concentrated veal stock, and a truffle slicer. While the first kit can ship overnight at any time, the Luxury Dinner Kit will ship on February 11 for delivery on the 12, just in time for Valentine's Day. It sells for $199.95, and also includes a foolproof recipe for preparing the steaks and a sauce made with the truffles, veal glace, butter, and red wine.
