David Burke Fabrick Celebrates First Birthday With Special Menu
It's time to say "Happy Birthday" to David Burke fabrick.
In honor of their one-year anniversary, from Thursday, May 28 through Saturday, May 30, diners will be presented with the four-course prix fixe menu ($80) "David Burke fabrick's Greatest Hits: Old vs. New."
Each course will feature a choice between a popular dish from the restaurant's opening menu or something new from their current menu.
You'll be spared the decision-making to start and simply enjoy a taste of fluke ceviche. After that, though, you'll have to make a series of snap decisions: avocado panna cotta or soba nori roll? Octopus tacos or candied bacon? Lamb chop Vindaloo or lobster "BLT" steamed buns?
Since you're obviously not going alone, splitting your choices and sharing with your dining companion is highly recommended.
For dessert, each diner will get an individual birthday cake, and I don't know which I'm looking forward to more — the cake, or the "festive birthday attire" that the staff is set to be sporting. Either way, executive chef Adin Langille is sure it will be a blast.
"It is going to be so much fun to look back on our old favorites and how the menu has evolved over time," he told us.
"My team and I can reminisce on the creation of the dishes, what they meant to us, and maybe even bring some of them back to the menu again. I also know that our guests, who have been along this journey with us, will have fun sharing the same feelings with us."
