The Daily Meal's Complete Coverage Of Feast Portland 2015
Whether you joined us this year at Feast Portland or just followed The Daily Meal at Feast Portland through Instagram and Twitter, here's a full recap of the weekend. Perhaps, like us, you'll use this coverage to re-live the festival, or maybe you'll feel inspired to grab a ticket for next year. Either way, check out The Daily Meal's on-the-ground coverage of Feast Portland below:
Thursday, September 17
The Widmer Brothers Brewing Sandwich Invitational: Chefs from all over the country competed to make the best sandwich — with voting from festival goers and a panel of judges — and beer from the Widmer Brothers flowed freely all night, and for the rest of the festival.
Friday, September 18
The Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting: Chefs and local producers from all over the American Northwest impressed with food and wares highlighting the region, from locally-produced brews to small bites topped with marionberries, the elusive fruit we once thought were a fictional food within the universe of Portlandia.
Tales from Duff Goldman: The Charm City Cakes boss talked about the time Carrie Welch, Feast co-creator and former vice president of public relations for Food Network, got him out of an ill-advised kerfuffle with an annoying adversary.
