Comedian Katt Williams Arrested For Assaulting Restaurant Manager Over Seating Dispute
Weeks after losing an ill-advised fight to a seventh grader, comedian Katt Williams has been arrested yet again.
This time, Williams threw a salt shaker at the manager of Spondivits restaurant in Atlanta, after Williams' dinner party "was denied preferential seating," according to WSB-TV.
"Once at the location, the officers found an individual bleeding from an injury to his upper lip," police captain C.R. Chandler said in a statement. "Interviews of this victim and witnesses were conducted and Katt M. Williams was identified as the alleged perpetrator of this incident."
Police then located Williams at a Waffle House nearby and took the comedian into custody without incident. Williams was charged with battery, and released around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, after posting bail.
In recent years, the comedian has come to be known for erratic and violent behavior that has led to multiple arrests, with this incident marking his fourth arrest of the year. Just last month, a video of Williams initiating a physical alternation with a middle school student went viral after it was posted online. Footage shows Williams punching the student, only to end up in a headlock.
