Chef Anne Burrell Is Opening A Fancy Cheetos Pop-Up Restaurant In NYC
Celebrity chef Anna Burrell has announced the opening of her new restaurant in New York City: The Spotted Cheetah. The pop-up eatery in Tribeca will be available for three days only — August 15 through 17 — and all dishes will feature one common ingredient: Cheetos.
The inspiration for this cheesy project, a collaboration with Frito Lay, stemmed from devoted Cheetos fans who have created recipes of their own — Cheetos sushi rolls, Cheetos bagels, and cheesy Cheetos pizza.
On Burrell's menu, you'll find Cheetos-crusted fried pickles, Cheetos meatballs, Flamin' Hot Cheetos chicken tacos, and even white cheddar Cheetos and Cheetos Sweetos apple crêpes.
Tables can be reserved on Open Table, but unfortunately it looks like the restaurant is already completely booked for all three days. You can still add yourself to the waitlist, though.
